Marina is our office manager. She maintains a friendly and happy environment at the office for patients and employees. She is from family of teachers and healthcare professionals. She has Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Interior Design at the Art Institute of Washington in Arlington and a degree from Kiev University of Foreign Languages. She has worked as Designer, translator/interpreter and has extensive experience in Medical field. She is very organized and manages her duties efficiently. In her free time, she enjoyed hiking, reading, visiting museums, playing with her three cats.
Catherine is a graduate of VCU’s Robertson School, with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations. She has a background in non-profit communications and client relations, working with and for people of all ages. She is a curious and outgoing individual who enjoys traveling, learning new languages, and binge-watching educational YouTube videos with friends. Michael is a graduate from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors degree and has earned an Associates in Applied Science from a Physical Therapy Assistant program at ECPI University. He has experience working with active duty military members and their families as well as the geriatric population. Michael is an Air Force veteran and military spouse who enjoys working with the large veteran population in the capitol region. Michael enjoys traveling, reading, and building lego sets with his son.
John graduated from George Mason University with a B.S in Kinesiology. John’s interest in understanding human movement and how the body operates led him to pursuing and achieving a doctoral degree from Shenandoah University in Physical Therapy. John is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the NSCA. John has experience working with patients from many different backgrounds and has a particular interest in pain neuroscience education. John seeks to provide patients with the tools necessary to optimize their movement and function. John stays active physically and mentally through weightlifting, reading, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and hiking.
Khadija graduated with from Gulf Medical University, UAE. She has experience in outpatient/inpatient orthopedic, neurology, pediatric & womens health extensively. She is truly passionate about pediatrics and she loves working with kids and she feels that she can connect with kids effortlessly. She likes to spend time in listening to the patients carefully and attentively to address their needs and to guide them patiently through the correct way of doing their exercises. Khadija loves traveling, exploring different cultures, learning different languages and going to amusement parks.
Katie earned her B.S in Recreation and Leisure Administration with an emphasis in Recreation Therapy from York College of Pennsylvania. She earned COTA from Penn State University. Katie loves working with children and adults helping them reach their fullest potential. She has experience working with children with a variety of different diagnosis including autism and behavioral issues & neurological disorders. She recently completed her BCaBA credentials. Katie enjoys traveling, boating, trying new restaurants, playing with her dog Chance, and spending time with friends and family.
Hillary graduated with her BS degree in Psychology from VCU and Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Hillary has completed her clinical fieldwork assignments in school based and home health settings, as well as at an outpatient hand clinic and a skilled nursing facility. Hillary has experience with working with mostly children but also has experience working with adults Hillary is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and enjoys attending Zumba class, going to the beach and attending amusement parks, as well as spending time with family.
Originally from Vietnam, Hien (pronounced Hee-en) brings a diverse professional background to her role as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. After exploring various career paths, she discovered her true passion in helping others through occupational therapy. She is a proud graduate of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Northern Virginia Community College, where she was consistently recognized on the Dean’s and President’s Lists for academic excellence. Hien has experience working with patients across the lifespan—from pediatrics to geriatrics—and is committed to promoting independence, function, and overall well-being. In her free time, she enjoys cooking as a way to relax and recharge, and most of all, spending quality time with her son.
Dr. Kavita is an Occupational Therapist since, a Physical Therapist, and BCBA. She brings years of experience of working with Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics patients. She has worked with clients of all diagnoses. She is a firm believer in the use of holistic approach. Her Certifications include - Vestibular Rehab, Sensory Integration and Praxis Test Administration and Interpretation, Sensory Processing Disorders, Yoga Instructor for children and adults , Therapeutic Listening, Provider for Astronaut Training, Provider for Interactive Metronome, Management of Feeding Disorders in Children .
Vibhakar has a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College NY. He has extensive experience of over 30 years in the management of people with orthopedic and neurological diagnosis. He applies McKenzie treatment method for Lumbar and Cervical impairments. He is an expert in the management of Vestibular disorders and in the Lee Silverman BIG Therapy for Parkinson’s Disease. Vibhakar is very comfortable in evaluation and management of complex cases with multiple diagnoses, performing assessments for adaptive equipment and in prosthetic and orthotic training across pediatric, adult and geriatric populations. Vibhakar excels in providing the highest level of care through personalized attention in a professional manner. His strength is in building lasting relationships with his patients with attentive listening and educating them in their physical well being to improve their quality of life.
