Marina is our office manager. She maintains a friendly and happy environment at the office for patients and employees. She is from family of teachers and healthcare professionals. She has Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Interior Design at the Art Institute of Washington in Arlington and a degree from Kiev University of Foreign Languages. She has worked as Designer, translator/interpreter and has extensive experience in Medical field. She is very organized and manages her duties efficiently. In her free time, she enjoyed hiking, reading, visiting museums, playing with her three cats.
Champale Ashby is from Arlington Virginia , She brings her specialty of providing top notch professional and organizational support to Body Kinetics Rehab. Champale’s work ethic garnered her recognition in client relations, leadership and process implementation. She possesses a strong business acumen and is well versed in working in a fast-paced environment. Besides her positive attitude and calm demeanor, she also brings to the Body Kinetics team her strong base of customer service skills, and a firm understanding of the importance of confidentiality and attention to detail. On her free time she’s love to crochet, and spend time with her family.
Melissa is from Bolivia, has a background in education and healthcare administration. She's a bilingual, detailed oriented, and organized person with excellent communication skills who enjoys working with patients and being a part of their wellness journey. Her welcoming personality and harmonious relationship with people of all ages creates a positive environment for patients when visiting the clinic. Melissa enjoys spending quality time with her kids, visiting new places and reading.
Aubrey graduated from The Community College of Rhode Island in applied sciences as a PTA. She is a Massachusetts native. She is passionate about working with kids. She has preschool teaching license, has been a gymnastics coach and has worked as a pediatric PTA. She has experience with patients with varying diagnosis. Aubrey is comfortable working with different types of assistive devices and orthotics in order to improve children’s motor function and quality of life. In her free time Aubrey enjoys doing and coaching gymnastics, running races, boating, and playing with her black lab Moose.
Michael is a graduate from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors degree and has earned an Associates in Applied Science from a Physical Therapy Assistant program at ECPI University. He has experience working with active duty military members and their families as well as the geriatric population. Michael is an Air Force veteran and military spouse who enjoys working with the large veteran population in the capitol region. Michael enjoys traveling, reading, and building lego sets with his son.
John graduated from George Mason University with a B.S in Kinesiology. John’s interest in understanding human movement and how the body operates led him to pursuing and achieving a doctoral degree from Shenandoah University in Physical Therapy. John is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the NSCA. John has experience working with patients from many different backgrounds and has a particular interest in pain neuroscience education. John seeks to provide patients with the tools necessary to optimize their movement and function. John stays active physically and mentally through weightlifting, reading, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and hiking.
Khadija graduated with from Gulf Medical University, UAE. She has experience in outpatient/inpatient orthopedic, neurology, pediatric & womens health extensively. She is truly passionate about pediatrics and she loves working with kids and she feels that she can connect with kids effortlessly. She likes to spend time in listening to the patients carefully and attentively to address their needs and to guide them patiently through the correct way of doing their exercises. Khadija loves traveling, exploring different cultures, learning different languages and going to amusement parks.
Jenna earned her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Longwood University. She enjoys serving pediatric and adult populations with a range of needs and diagnoses in a variety of settings. Jenna is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). When she's not working, Jenna loves spending time with her family and friends, playing with her beagle, Lulu, volunteering with Special Olympics, playing board games, and doing crafts.
McKayla earned her bachelors degree in Communication Science Disorders from Old Dominion University and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. McKayla enjoys working with children and adults with a wide range of needs and diagnoses. She has clinical experience working in both the private practice and school settings. In McKayla’s spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and checking out different coffee shops!
Phoebe earned her BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences from SUNY Cortland and her MA in Speech-Language Pathology from The George Washington University. She has experience providing articulation, language, and literacy therapy for clients of all ages. Phoebe believes in building strong relationships with patients to form a foundation for fun and engaging therapy. She is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Phoebe enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
Katie earned her B.S in Recreation and Leisure Administration with an emphasis in Recreation Therapy from York College of Pennsylvania. She earned COTA from Penn State University. Katie loves working with children and adults helping them reach their fullest potential. She has experience working with children with a variety of different diagnosis including autism and behavioral issues & neurological disorders. Katie enjoys traveling, boating, trying new restaurants, playing with her dog Chance, and spending time with friends and family.
Hillary graduated with her BS degree in Psychology from VCU and Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Hillary has completed her clinical fieldwork assignments in school based and home health settings, as well as at an outpatient hand clinic and a skilled nursing facility. Hillary has experience with working with mostly children but also has experience working with adults Hillary is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and enjoys attending Zumba class, going to the beach and attending amusement parks, as well as spending time with family.
Chunhee received a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy in Korea, and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from University of Pittsburgh. Chunhee has wide range of experience in university hospitals, rehabilitation medical centers for both adults and pediatric populations in Korea and U.S. Chunhee has a passion for helping people to maximize their function and to create compensatory strategies to regain their meaningful activities and to enhance the quality of life. Chunhee loves hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing piano and flute during her free time.
Dr. Kavita is an Occupational Therapist since, a Physical Therapist, and BCBA. She brings years of experience of working with Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics patients. She has worked with clients of all diagnoses. She is a firm believer in the use of holistic approach. Her Certifications include - Vestibular Rehab, Sensory Integration and Praxis Test Administration and Interpretation, Sensory Processing Disorders, Yoga Instructor for children and adults , Therapeutic Listening, Provider for Astronaut Training, Provider for Interactive Metronome, Management of Feeding Disorders in Children .
Vibhakar has a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College NY. He has extensive experience of over 30 years in the management of people with orthopedic and neurological diagnosis. He applies McKenzie treatment method for Lumbar and Cervical impairments. He is an expert in the management of Vestibular disorders and in the Lee Silverman BIG Therapy for Parkinson’s Disease. Vibhakar is very comfortable in evaluation and management of complex cases with multiple diagnoses, performing assessments for adaptive equipment and in prosthetic and orthotic training across pediatric, adult and geriatric populations. Vibhakar excels in providing the highest level of care through personalized attention in a professional manner. His strength is in building lasting relationships with his patients with attentive listening and educating them in their physical well being to improve their quality of life.
